The Brazilian production of oranges continues to be one of the activities that generate the most jobs in the country. In the 2021/2022 harvest, there were 42,953 thousand jobs, with all the benefits and legal rights provided for in the legislation. Jobs generated by citrus farming represent 7% of the total jobs created by agriculture in Brazil.
